Hi Everyone, OK this is my first twisted map. I’ve taken the driving times from Ipswich to coastal towns in the UK and morphed the map accordingly. There are a bunch of things I need to fix, but I’d realy like to hear what you think. Cheers, Dave

I find myself watching different lumps to see what they will do. How do you think this might be presented in an exhibition, if you want to do this?

Is it possible (data, cache or processing time) to do this rapidly enough that I could `travel` around the UK and see how the country distorted according to where I went? This could make it really nicely interactive, and would avoid having to use the cyclic animation, which is a bit stop-starty.

Anyway, this looks fantastic. Keep it up.

In doing this project I’ve come across some really cool related work:

I’m interested in how you did this.  Was it stiched together painstakingly by hand, or hacked up in Processing or what?

I’m keen to do something similar to this:  http://www.kenkil.plus.com/250mZone1.png
but a bit less static.  (The grid is 250m square, in Real Space but warped into the familiar beck map) Any thoughts?
