The Way Things Go

In German.. Der Lauf Der Dinger (the way of things)

Inside a warehouse, artists Peter Fischli and David Wiess build an enourmous, precarious structure 100 feet long made out of common household items - teac kettles, tires, old shoes balloons, wooden ramps etc. Then, with fire, water, gravity and chemistry, they create a spectacular chain reaction, a self-destructiong performance of physical interactions, chemical reaction, and precisely crafted chaos worthy of Rube Goldberg of Alfred Hitchcock.
