I think that there is quite a lot of scope for doing things with mirrors because people are already familiar with what a mirror normally does. So when you then present them with something which breaks that pre-conception, then you get their attention. And a ‘Hall of Mirrors’ that isnt the traditional warping mirrors would be very different and memorable!

There are a lot of mirror related inventions I have seen. I really like the idea of fullfilling the construction by adding the mirror.
Unfortunately I can’t find a fine example from Rhode Island School of Design exhibit : the mirror was used to reflect half of the body, by placing the nude into the opening in the mirror in the shape of a human figure > produced surreal effect, as if a person was floating.
