Wind machine
I made an amazing wind generator from really basic things. really quick. most exciting is it’s working and producing electricity. Maybe someone would be interested. picture is coming…
Here’s the picture:
Does not look nice but remember:
- it took only two hours to make it
- it’s working
- it’s producing electricity!

Just to clarify, pictures can be uploaded by anyone (all the collective members have accounts with enough privileges).
You use the Upload tab within your admin pages (see “site admin” link in the right bar).
After submission it will give you code which you can embed in your future blog postings to include the image.
Two caveats
* the picture must be less than 300k
* preferably 200pixel thumbnails should be generated, and add these to your posts instead of the full image, to make it look nice
If the file is called filename, your thumbnail will be called…

i wonder if it looks low tech. i have been interested in wind organs. i am curious if it can be part of something else to make sound.

it’s low tech enough to inspire people to produce sounds of admire
seriously, the machine could be used to produce sounds generated by the random ammount of electricity coming from there,
wind_mashine=>dynamo=>musical_synthesizer=>sound=>all_happy!

akopa, you have too imaginative visual comprehension
that’s just a magic tale that puts the machine against the wind…
