The Perverberator
By John Bowers (June 2009)
A perverb (portmanteau of “perverse proverb”) is a humorous modification of a known proverb, explored by the French literary movement Oulipo.
The Perverberator manufactures new perverbs, by joining the beginnings and ends of old proverbs at random; often with profound or hilarious results.
